Teen Naturalists – Deadline for Registration

Teen registration forms for 2022-2023 have been mailed to past members. Application forms are available on the KFN website (kingstonfieldnaturalists.org/youth) orn8ture.anne at sympatico.ca or 613-389-6742. The deadline for registration is 8 September.

Junior Naturalists – Deadline for Registration

Junior registration forms for 2022-2023 have been mailed to past members. Forms are available from the KFN website (kingstonfieldnaturalists.org/youth) or n8ture.anne at sympatico.ca or 613-389-6742. The deadline for registration is 9 September.

Martin Edwards Reserve – Trail Closure

The trail along the berm on the Martin Edwards Reserve is “temporarily closed until further repairs”.  Access to the point is still possible along the gravel beach. Please do not walk on the berm.

Mid Summer Tiger Swallowtail Research

There is a tiger swallowtail in Eastern Ontario that flies in July, well after the peak flight of the Canadian Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio canadensis).
