KFN Annual General Meeting 2020

The KFN’s Annual General Meeting will be conducted on Thursday September 17th, starting at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be virtual, using the Zoom platform.

All KFN members in good standing are invited to attend. In order for the votes to be valid we need to have a quorum, which is defined in our constitution as at least 25 members. So if you can spare the time please consider joining the meeting. Your reward will be an interesting presentation from Carolyn Bonta after the business portion of the meeting is concluded.

Registration. For security reasons the login information for the meeting will not be published in the newsletter or on the website or Facebook page. Members who wish to attend will need to register in advance by sending an email to the outgoing President. On the day of the meeting those who have registered will receive an invitation to the meeting which contains the login information and some basic notes about how to work with Zoom.

Registration opens on Thursday September 10th.

Registration closes at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 16th.

The Agenda (link below) includes the expected motions (approval of minutes, election of executive etc). The annual reports from the executive members and committee chairs were published in the June Blue Bill so there is no need to repeat them.

The audited financial statements are normally published in the September Bluebill, and they are also available for download at the link below. These statements provide members with background information prior to the vote on the 2020/21 budget.
