Field Trip – Derby Hill Bird Observatory
April 18 @ 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT
Welcome to the world of international birding. We will be traveling to the Derby Hill Bird Observatory in Oswego County, New York to look for returning birds. Derby Hill is an area that experiences higher concentrations of birds especially migrating raptors. Derby Hill is located on the corner of Lake Ontario and is a major junction for birds not wanting to fly over the lake.
Deadline to register is April 3rd and you will require a valid Canadian passport. We will carpool from the carpool lot at Highway 15 and the 401. The field trip will finish in Oswego County. More details will be given to participants. Register at fieldtrips@kingstonfieldnaturalists.org
